Why they can't just take out the canoe and go fishing or something, I don't know. Instead, they decided to fill it with water and hand paddle their way across the lake.

I don't know if Vinny knows how lucky he is that he didn't lose the canoe in the bottom of the lake. There would have been an awful lot of lawn mowing going on to make up for that.
